This transparent housing can read both HDD and SSD drives via the SATA interface on the panel. The maximum speed limits are searched with the NS1068X chip in combination with a USB 3.0 port. This gives you access to a super speed speed of up to 5Gbps!
The 2.5 inch housing is made of temperature resistant transparent ABS plastic.

Compatibility

The housing is compatible with SATA I, II and III and also with Solid State Drives (SSD) and supports the UASP Protocol. No driver is required and you do not need to restart the computer or laptop when connecting. Works with Windows 10/8/7 / Vista and XP, also works with Mac OS 9.1 and higher, Linux and Unix.
USB 3.0 also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1.

Capacity

The housing supports 2.5 inch hard drives with a maximum capacity of 2TB.
(note: no hard disk is included)
